Zombie Apocalypse Survival Gear
Packing for the Zombie Apocalypse
The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us a lot of hard lessons about life. One of the most important things I've learned is how we should always be prepared for the worst. I know I cannot put in an order for groceries without adding in a container of clorox wipes and a package of toilet paper. Remember those 6 months in 2020 when everything was in short supply. I even have my own Bug-Out Kit just in case the pandemic gets worse, a deadly variant of the virus emerges that escapes the vaccines, or in case something worse happens, like the Zombie Apocalypse. So to illustrate what you should pack, just in case. . .and depending on your priorities. Photographer Allison Stewart shows the contents of people's "bug-out bags," prepared for the next big one, whatever it might be. I know my biggest fear isn't virus or natural disaster but social and political unrest brought on by the willfully ignorant and deluded, conspiracy theory obsessed masses.

The contents of these bags project what people fear—war, martial law, natural disaster—and how they intend to cope. For some buggers its as simple as pills and a bottle of tequila; for others, a carefully planned pack of food and supplies to last a few days. They range from the off the shelf and Homeland Security kits to off-grid survivalist bags and pet emergency packs.
